There has been some talk about NBC's airing of 30 Rock's "MILF Island" episode at 8:30 p.m. last week. The network had previously said that the 8 p.m. hour would be for family programming, reality and game shows, all nice entertainment stuff that the whole family can enjoy. (Or loathe, if you're talking about me and Deal or No Deal contestants.)
NBC issued a statement, saying that when NBC said 8 p.m. would be family hour, they basically mean it unless they want to air something that is not family friendly in that hour. (Read it for yourself to judge what he said.)
So next time they tell you that they're designating an hour of programming for something, don't listen? I guess?
